Recruiting video questions
How long should a recruiting video be?
Short enough that a coach finishes it. Most of ours land between one and three minutes, best rep first, and we never pad a film with filler plays.
Do you send my video to recruiters or college coaches?
No. We are a media company, not a recruiting service: we make the film, and you send it, with your profile link and in your own words. We will tell you what belongs on the title card.
Is there an NCAA-approved recruiting video format?
No. NCAA rules cover recruiting contact and eligibility, not highlight videos. For eligibility questions, go to the NCAA Eligibility Center. What coaches in every division want is the same: your best plays, you clearly identified, at real speed.
Is a recruiting video only for D1 prospects?
No. D1, D2, D3, NAIA and JUCO coaches all evaluate film, and many athletes find their best fit below D1. If a recruiting cut is too early for your athlete, we’ll say so.
Which sports do you make recruiting videos for?
Football is where our format started. Tell us your sport and position and we’ll build the reps around what your position coach looks for.
